Volunteer
The support and commitment of hundreds of volunteers enable Inter-Faith Ministries’ programs to serve thousands in the Wichita community. Each December, Operation Holiday serves 4,500 families in need by distributing food, blankets, and coats. Volunteers are the essence of the Faith In Action program that helps people who are aging, disabled, or chronically ill maintain their independence and remain in their homes. Children are being helped and encouraged by the committed volunteers in our GoZones! program. Volunteers are an essential part of every Inter-Faith Ministries program. With their help, Inter-Faith Ministries draws nearer to its mission to “build inter-religious understanding, promote justice, relieve misery, and reconcile the estranged.”
