Volunteers and Donors Needed!
This year, Operation Holiday expects to help over 14,000 people stay warm and fed during the winter holidays. What we really need is your help… and we need special types of help.
The Wichita community is very generous, but every year Operation Holiday comes up short on certain items - items that are crucial to nutritionally fragile children and seniors. It would be a special blessing if your group could help us with a targeted drive focused on these special needs. Please consider organizing one or more of the following drives: Protein (peanut butter, canned chicken or tuna) Breakfast (cereal and other items) Coats (ones you’d be proud to give to your grandchild or grandparent) or Blankets (sometimes used to block drafts from windows).
- Donate food, cash, warm coats
- Donate blankets, gloves, scarves
- Help with application intake
- Be an escort at distribution
- Pick-up donated items
- Offer translation services
- Help with data entry
